New Website Up and Running

Readers of this blog can now visit my website where I am showcasing my work as a storyteller/performer and writer. The site also contains photos and information about my latest project: an original, one-person show as physicist Albert Einstein.

I've been performing the show at schools, libraries, senior centers, and senior living communities in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. The URL for the website is http://www.georgecapaccio.com/

For the record, I continue to raise money for families in Baghdad. Despite the end of the US occupation of Iraq, basic services in that country are still inadequate. And escalating food prices, high levels of unemployment, and the ever-present threat of violence by extremists and armed thugs continue to make life extremely difficult for ordinary Iraqis. As always, donations to the Family Relief Fund are more than welcome.

The Iraq Family Relief Fund

The Iraq Family Relief Fund was begun in 1998 by George Capaccio of Friends Meeting at Cambridge. He began the Fund shortly after returning home from his fourth trip to Iraq as a witness to the effects of economic sanctions on the people of Iraq.

Since that time, the Fund has provided regular humanitarian assistance to a group of related Iraqi families living in Baghdad or as refugees in Syria and Jordan.

Although your donations are NOT tax deductible, 95% goes directly to the families for food, shelter, medicine, emergencies, and special grants. The remaining 5% covers our operating costs.
